Owner Jerry Lyon, who took over the business from his father in 1972 , wants you to come in and check out his carpeting from companies such as Shaw, Mohawk, Tuftex and Beaulieu, all available in his spacious 3,500 square-foot display room.

There is beautiful flooring with prices to meet all budgets.

There are hundreds of yards of carpet. The showroom displays many beautiful colors and textures of carpet.

Carpet is available in a wide variety of durable materials that will last for many years. There are cut piles, Berber, cut or loop styles, long or short loop, Saxony, prints and patterns. It also carries all of the soft yarns such as Evertouch, Lisse and Tactesse.

"Cut berber carpet is hot right now as are frieze carpets. We have the latest in both of those styles as well as Saxony texture plushes," Lyon said.

Of course, durable laminate flooring, hardwood or vinyl, is a popular way to go. Quick Step laminate is beautifully designed and maintenance free. The panels snap together to form a tight, smooth fit, without glue.

"Laminate and tiles are very hot right now. Laminate floors are very durable and give you a real wood look," Lyon said.

Tiles are available in a variety of colors and textures -- customers can choose the perfect size and color to enhance any floor and open up any room. Lyon's has hundreds of samples of tiles to choose from.

"If you're looking for real wood we will install it for $10 a square foot, installed, with a 200 square-foot minimum. We have a special on cut berber, installed for $15.50 a square yard based on 80 yards minimum," Lyon said.
Lyon's Floor Covering also does showers, and tile and granite countertops.
