Desert View Memorial Park planning for the future

A survey of Desert View Memorial Park's beautifully manicured lawns and mausoleums give one a sense of peace and tranquility. Purchased in 2002 by Caring Funeral Service, Inc., Desert View is one of nine locations in Southern California.

Desert View Memorial Park offers a sense of peace and tranquility.

Desert View Memorial Park was founded in the high desert in 1978. The funeral home adjacent to the cemetery office was built in 1996 followed by a crematory in 2003, which can accommodate families that wish to have a complete service at one location.

"We are an endowment care facility, which allows us to care for the park in ways that families would want -- such as maintaining the lawns and ensuring that we will continue to beautify the park in the future with more features."

With 58 acres, Desert View Memorial Park, Funeral Home and Crematory has wonderful plans for the future. They are in the planning stages of building additional mausoleums to the park and opening up additional lawns. The funeral home chapel is being enlarged to accommodate larger services as well as having a larger area for their annual Candle Lighting Ceremony held in December.

They have a staff of approximately 20 employees, all of them trained to service families during their time of need. Offering bilingual consultations add to the commitment that Desert View has to the community.

Desert View Memorial Park also has a Family Service Department that concentrates on the needs of families before, during and after services. This department is comprised of five employees available to meet with families to make pre-arrangements and/or service arrangements. "Unfortunately death is something we all need to plan for, but few like to discuss; pre-planning is very important." Desert View can provide families and their loved ones with the valuable benefits in preparing these arrangements. They offer many options, custom services and memorialization to ensure that your loved one is remembered and honored.

"We understand the unique difficulties that this time can bring therefore we do our best to provide families with a sense to peace and comfort and to assure them that their loved one will be treated with respect and dignity."

Desert View Memorial Park, Funeral Home and Crematory is located at 11500 Amargosa Road, next to Interstate 15, in Victorville. They can be reached at (760) 949-0326. Please contact them for additional locations throughout Southern California.
